The wooden part of the board can be treated with a butcher block oil of your choice.
Cutting directly on the board (both the wooden part and the resin waves) is not recommended.
While placing food directly onto the resin should be ok, it is not recommended. (also, it’s really meant as a display area!).
Avoid placing board in sunlight for extended periods of time.
