Helping the animals of Australia

As you are probably aware, the recent record-setting bushfires in Australia are not only causing immense damage to the land, but are also taking their toll on the wildlife population.  The full extent of impacts on the species and natural surroundings cannot be calculated until the fires are extinguished, but it’s certain that the damage will be extensive and severe.

ARTINSPIRED and DIY Crafter’s Shop are combing forces to raise funds for the animals who are affected by these fires, as well as the volunteers who are helping to care for them.  We have chosen The Animal Rescue Collective as the recipient of all funds that we are fortunate enough to raise. 

“The Animal Rescue Collective works together with like minded people, to support animal rescue, wildlife organizations and their volunteers across the East Coast of Australia.”

Handmade pieces are currently being sold to raise funds for this cause, but we will also be holding an event on Saturday, Febdurary 1 in Port Warwick as a way to come together as a community to give back.
